McCain flew to Washington to ensure that the bill was passed, and even with that attempt at persuasion his subsequent inability to rally Republican support demonstrates how little that even members of his own party respect his leadership. Instead of showing the courage to accept at least part of the accountability for this failure, McCain blames Obama.

He has certainly turned one independent voter into a die hard Democrat. Shame on McCain, and shame on the members of Congress regardless of their party affiliation, for not showing the courage to vote for the only hope that mainstreet America has to make a living.
